Summary
As an Engineering Manager, you will oversee the development of seamless cloud-connected applications + various cloud, and cloud integration initiatives. You'll get the opportunity to be hands-on with technical and design decisions, working with various cross functional members of our Product and Engineering org while also leading, coaching, recruiting, and inspiring a collaborative and diverse team of software engineers. We're hoping you'll possess strong leadership, character, high emotional intelligence, detail oriented organization, and effective communications skills. Ideally, this person is a growth-minded leader with resiliency and one who embraces change. A strong plus would be someone who can tell a few great jokes given our WebEx world! - Lead team(s) throughout software development lifecycle.
Skills Required
8+ years in industry with progressive growth in responsibility, 3+ years technical leadership and managing teams of 6 or more engineers, Strong written and oral communications skills, Strong leadership, character, high emotional intelligence, detail oriented organizational skills, Strong growth minded leader, with a resilient will who embrace change and learn quickly, Amazon AWS experience (EC2, S3, SQS, SNS, Kinesis, ELB, Lambda), Experience with service/microservices oriented computing architecture, Experience implementing infrastructure as code, including building and integrating into CI/CD pipelines. (Prioritizing candidates with Terraform and Jenkins experience), Experience with highly scalable application, Strong skills in at least one programming language: GoLang, C# on .Net, NodeJS + Javascript/TypeScript, Strong knowledge of REST API and web protocol and technologies (HTTPS, CORS, Postman, JSON, XML), Familiarity with cloud native technology and cloud transformation landscape, Familiarity with .NET Core
